San Vincenzo is a municipality of 6.528 inhabitants in the province of Livorno. It is located along the Tyrrhenian coast (also called Etruscan coast) at the beginning of the Tuscan "maremma". Its toponym is to be found for the first time in 1285 and derives from San Vincenzo's Tower, which was built on the coast side by the inhabitants of Pisa, possibly near a church dedicated to San Vincenzo from Saragozza. San Vincenzo is a well-known sea resort. |
